Recovery System of Hybrid Rocket (McGill Rocket Team)

I led the Recovery Team of the McGill Rocket Team, overseeing the design, manufacturing, and testing of the rocket’s recovery system. Managing a subteam of over 40 students, I was responsible for ensuring the safe return of the rocket through parachute deployment, separation mechanisms, and structural integration. During the annual rocket competition, the team secured second place in the advanced category at the Launch Canada Competition and successfully participated in the Spaceport America Cup. This role developed my technical, leadership, and project management skills in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
